Launched in 2014, Fund for Shared Insight was a national funder collaborative that sought to shift norms and practices around listening and feedback in philanthropy and the social sector. As the initiative reached its planned sunset in 2026, funders, staff, and partners involved in the collaborative’s creation and its more recent work reflect on Shared Insight’s origins, its equity journey, and its impact in supporting philanthropy and nonprofits to listen and shift power to the people at the heart of their work.
